We are currently working with an exceptional recruitment business who specialise in placing high demand digital professionals for some of the worlds top brands including; Facebook, Deliveroo, Tesco and Barclays.
After 4 years of continued growth they are looking to grow internationally, double in size and open up more regional offices. With this, they are looking for a passionate, experienced and proven Head of People to join the business.
Purpose of role:
To support the growth of the business through the design and execution of an effective learning and development division that encompasses the support and training of all staff from graduates to senior managers.
You will look to scale the L&D department to support the UK and International growth of the business.
Key responsibilities:
Take ownership of the strategy and execution of a learning and development business unit within a growing recruitment brand.
Design and deliver a graduate training academy that caters for both contract and permanent recruitment methods across Europe and the UK. Take ownership of the subsequent development and successes of the individuals moving through the academy.
Build modules for training that cater for various levels of experience from junior to director level, covering sales, recruitment, management, coaching, compliance, systems knowledge.
Work with the management team to build a personal development plan for each consultant. Ensure that the PDPs straddle a competency and appraisal framework that reflects the goals and values of the business.
The ideal individual:
You will be an experienced Learning, development and people manager (7 years+) who has demonstrated your skills in the production, delivery and management of a successful training programme within a learning culture at a recognised recruitment brand.
Past experience of creating a L&D strategy, implementing that strategy as well as the hiring and management of sales trainers is essential.
You will have built and delivered a successful graduate training academy, with an effective programme of post academy training and analysis, and a track record of producing outstanding recruitment talent.
You will have a detailed understanding of the recruitment environment covering both UK and International regions, preferably with experience of new office launches. You would ideally have a past knowledge of our core markets; Data, Technology and Digital.
